SARAH BAKER
Sarah has 28 years' experience in the NHS, initially working as a children's nurse and health visitor and then moving into health service management. Her last role was as a Director within a PCT leading on provider services. Sarah was lead for developing and delivering children's services in line with the ECM agenda and NSF and working with the West Sussex Partnership Trust commissioning CAMHS services. Within this role Sarah gained expertise in Clinical Governance and Clinical risk management.
Sarah was lead for child protection and safeguarding across the West Sussex PCTs, sitting on the LSCB and being part of the executive.
Sarah graduated from Sussex University with a first class honours degree in Nurse Education and has undertaken the Top Manager Programme and Realising your Potential at the Kings Fund.
Within Outcomes UK, Sarah is a Principal Consultant. Sarah has led on/delivered DCSF Intervention projects in Devon and Hertfordshire. She has worked in a number of local authorities helping prepare them for their Joint Area Reviews. Sarah is the Independent Chair of the Children's safeguarding boards in Richmond and Hertfordshire.
Sarah is currently working with ENCAMS an environmental charity bridging the Cleaner, Safer Greener agenda with the Every Child Matters agenda for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Sarah has recently become Operational Director for Camhs Consultants Ltd.
