KATHY GREENSMITH
Kathy has over thirty years working in the NHS and private healthcare sector. She has extensive experience in CAMHS particularly at tier 4 where she has been a manager of several units. Kathy has also worked in NHS psychotherapy units and therapeutic communities working with those affected by early trauma in their lives; particularly those people diagnosed as suffering from having a personality disorder.
Kathy is a qualified psychotherapist and supervisor as well as RGN RMN and registered nurse teacher. She has worked in colleges of nursing; UCH and Middlesex Hospital (Bloomsbury College of Nursing) Nurse Teacher; Barnet College of Nursing Post Basic Education Mental Health and Counselling. Kathy has taught multidisciplinary teams and has an MSc and BSc in healthcare and counselling. She has studied many adolescent courses at Tavistock Clinic and other colleges. A senior Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, Kathy is also a part time tutor at Middlesex University. She has worked as a CPN and set up and expanded services in NHS and private adolescent units and adult mental health.
