BRENDA ALLEN
Brenda is an experienced consultant and senior manager in public and voluntary sectors, with a strong mental health background. She has extensive knowledge of social care and children's services, health, education and housing.
Brenda has past experience as a lead consultant at Young Minds working with multi-disciplinary and professional teams, reviewing CAMHS and children’s services. Brenda has also worked with Shared Solutions consulting on service, workforce and training issues in the NHS.
Brenda's approach is to engage managers, clinicians, service users and carers in identifying service strengths, gaps and opportunities to build and develop services alongside involving senior managers to champion and support developments.
Prior to consulting Brenda was national assistant director and head of large national policy development unit, chair and vice chair of two charity boards, and joint manager of a London CAMHS.
